How to Register Bybit Account?

Step 1: Visit the Bybit website

The first step is to visit the Bybit website. You will see a yellow button that says "Sign Up". Click on it and you will be redirected to the registration form.

Step 2: Fill in the registration form

There are three ways to register a Bybit account: you might choose [Register with Email], [Register with Mobile Phone Number], or [Register with Social Media Account] as your preference. Here are the steps for each method:

With your Email Address:

1. Enter a valid email address.
2. Create a strong and unique password for your Bybit account. It should contain a combination of upper and lower-case letters, numbers, and special characters. Make sure it’s not easily guessable and keep it confidential.
3. After filling in the form, Click the "Get my Welcome Gifts" button.

With your Mobile Phone Number:

1. Enter your phone number.
2. Create a strong password. Make sure to use a password that combines letters, numbers, and special characters to enhance security.
3. After filling in the form, Click the "Get my Welcome Gifts" button.

With your Social Media Account:

1. Choose one of the social media platforms available, such as Google or Apple.
2. You will be redirected to the login page of your chosen platform. Enter your credentials and authorize Bybit to access your basic information.

Step 3: Complete the CAPTCHA

Complete the CAPTCHA verification to prove you’re not a bot. This step is essential for security purposes.

Step 4: Verification Email

Bybit will send a verification email to the address you provided. Open your email inbox and click on the verification link within the email to confirm your email address.

Step 5: Access your trading account

Congratulations! You have successfully registered a Bybit account. You can now explore the platform and use the various features and tools of Bybit.

Buy Crypto with Your Credit/Debit Card on Bybit

Here you will find a detailed step-by-step guide on buying crypto with Fiat currencies by using Debit/Credit Card on Bybit. Before you begin your Fiat purchase, please complete your Advanced KYC.

Currently, Visa and Mastercard payments are supported.

On Desktop

Step 1: Click Buy Crypto on the top left corner of the navigation bar and select “One-Click Buy”.

Step 2: If you’re using a credit/debit card payment for the first time, please add your credit/debit card information first.


Note:

• You may be required to fill in the billing address. Please ensure that the billing address entered matches your credit/debit card’s registered address.
• Your bank account name must be consistent with your registered name on Bybit.

If you have already added your credit/debit card information, please follow the steps below to place your order:

(Using EUR/USDT as an example, please note that the exchange rate on this page is just an approximation. You can check the exact exchange rate on the confirmation page)

1. Select the fiat currency that you want to pay.
2. Select the crypto you would like to receive in your Funding Account.
3. Enter the purchase amount. You can enter the transaction amount based on fiat currency amount or crypto amount, according to your needs.
4. Select the credit/debit card you’ve added.
5. Click on Buy with.

Notes:

• The reference price will refresh every 30 seconds.
• You may need to enter a CVV code and/or pass 3DS verification

Step 3: Please confirm that the details you’ve entered are correct and then click on Confirm.

Step 4: Card payment is processing.
Note: You may be prompted to enter a one-time passcode or confirm the transaction from your Bank App. There is a chance that 3D secure code will be needed.

Bank card payment processing is usually complete within minutes. Purchased crypto will be credited to your Bybit Fiat Wallet once the payment has been verified.

Step 5: Your order is now completed.

• Click on View Asset to check your balance. You’ll receive your order status by email and notification if you’ve enabled them.

To set up, please head to Account Security – Two-Factor Authentication to enable the Email Authentication.

You can also enable notifications under Settings.

• Crypto will be credited to your account immediately after the purchase is complete.
• Click on Buy again. You’ll be redirected to the order page.

To view your order history, please click on Orders in the upper right corner for more details.

Buy Crypto with your Fiat Balance in Bybit

We support a variety of fiat currencies to buy cryptocurrencies, including BRL, ARS, EUR, GBP and more. Before buying crypto with your fiat balance, please ensure to have enabled the 2FA verification. To set up, please head to Account Security – Two-Factor Authentication.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you buy cryptocurrencies with your fiat balance.

Step 1: Click on Buy Crypto – One-Click Buy on the top left corner of the navigation bar to enter the One-Click Buy page.

Step 2: Place an order through the following steps:

Take BRL/USDT as an example:

a. Select BRL as the Fiat currency for the payment.
b. Select the crypto you would like to receive in your Account.
c. Enter the purchase amount. You can enter the transaction amount based on fiat currency amount or coin amount, according to your needs.
d. Select BRL Balance as your payment method.

Step 3: Click on Buy With BRL.

Note: The Reference price will refresh every 30 seconds.

Step 4: Confirm that the details you’ve entered are correct, and then click on Confirm.

Step 5: Your transaction is complete. The coin will be deposited into your Funding Account within 1–2 minutes.

• Click on View Asset to check your balance. You’ll receive your order status by email and notifications, if you’ve enabled them.
• Click on Buy More. You’ll be redirected to the order page.

To view your order history, please click on Orders in the upper right corner for more details.

Buy Crypto via P2P Trading from Bybit

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you — as a buyer — start your first P2P transaction on Bybit.

On App
Step 1: Please click on Buy Crypto -- P2P on the home page.
Step 2: On the Buy page, you can filter for your preferred advertisers by filling in the Amount, Fiat Currencies, or Payment Methods fields based on your transaction needs. You’ll need to create a nickname if this is your first time using P2P.

Step 3: Choose your preferred advertisement, then click on Buy.

Step 4: Enter the amount of fiat you want to pay, or the amount of crypto you want to receive, and click on Buy to proceed.

You’ll be redirected to the order page, where you will have 15 minutes to transfer the money to the seller’s bank account. Click on Go to Pay to proceed with your payment once you have confirmed that all the order details are correct.

Notes:

• P2P transactions will only be processed via the Funding account so please ensure that your funds are in your Funding account before starting a transaction.
• Your bank account name must be consistent with your registered name on Bybit. Otherwise, the advertiser may cancel the order and issue a refund.
• P2P on Bybit offers zero transaction fees for both buyer and seller. However, traders may need to pay transaction fees to the payment provider based on the payment method selected.

Step 5: Click on Payment Completed once you’ve completed the payment. You can click on the Live Chat box from the upper right corner to easily communicate with sellers in real time.

Step 6:
a. Once the crypto you’ve purchased have been successfully released by the seller, you can go to your P2P asset history to view the details, along with your transaction history.

You can also go back to the advertiser list and click on the three-dot menu on the upper right corner to view your order history.

b. If the seller fails to release the crypto after 10 minutes, you can click on Submit Appeal.

Step 2: On the Buy page, you can filter advertisers by entering your desired criteria for Amount, Fiat Currencies or Payment Methods, based on your transaction needs.

Notes:
Under the Advertiser column, the displayed order quantity and percentage refer to:

• Number of orders made in 30 days
• Completion rate in 30 days

Under the Limits column, advertisers have listed the minimum and maximum transaction limits per order — in fiat terms — for each advertisement.

Under the Payment Method column, you can see all supported payment methods for the advertisement you’ve selected.

Step 3: Choose your preferred advertisement, and click on Buy USDT.

Step 4: Enter the amount of fiat you want to pay, or the amount of crypto you want to receive, and click Buy to proceed.

You’ll be redirected to the order page, where you have 15 minutes to transfer the money to the seller’s bank account. Please verify that all the order details are correct before proceeding.

— P2P transactions will only be processed via the Funding account so please ensure that your funds are in your Funding account before starting a transaction.
— Your bank account name must be consistent with your registered name on Bybit. Otherwise, the advertiser may cancel the order and issue a refund.

How to Deposit Crypto to Bybit?

Deposit via Web
If you have crypto in other wallets or platforms, you can choose to transfer them to the Bybit platform for trading.

Step 1: Click on [Assets] in the top right corner and select [Deposit].

Step 2: Select the crypto that you would like to deposit.

Step 3: Select the chain type that you will use. After acknowledging the information message, you’ll see your Bybit deposit address. You can either scan the QR code or copy the deposit address and use it as the destination address to which you can send the funds.

Make sure that the network you select matches the one selected on your withdrawal platform. If you select the wrong network, your funds may be lost and they will not be recoverable.

Different networks have different transaction fees. You can select a network with lower fees for your withdrawals.

The deposit will be credited to your Spot Account by default. To change your default deposit account, you can set it up in the following two (2) ways:

1. Select Deposits auto-channeled to your Spot, Derivatives, or other accounts.
2. Head to the Settings page under Accounts and Security

Deposit via App

Step 1: Go to Assets located at the bottom right-hand corner of the page, and choose the "Deposit" button.

Step 2: Select the crypto, or enter your preferred crypto in the search box to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: On the Deposit page, select the correct chain type and you can either scan the QR code or copy the deposit address, and use it as the destination address to which you can send the funds.

The deposit will be credited to your Spot Account by default.

How to Trade on Bybit?

Step 1:  Head over to the Bybit homepage , and click on Trade → Spot Trading on the navigation bar to enter the Spot Trading page.

For traders using Bybit’s app, click on Trade at the bottom right to enter the trading page.

Step 2: on the left side of the page you can see all trading pairs, as well as the Last Traded Price and 24-hour change percentage of the corresponding trading pairs. Use the search box to directly enter the trading pair you want to view.

If you’re using Bybit’s mobile app, please click on the trading pair in the upper left corner to see a full list of trading pairs. Simply select the pair you want to trade.


Tip: Click on Add to Favorites to place frequently viewed trading pairs in the Favorites column. This feature allows you to easily select pairs for trading.

Place Your Order
Bybit Spot trading provides you with four types of orders: Limit Orders, Market Orders, Conditional Orders and Take Profit/Stop Loss (TP/SL) Orders.

Let’s take BTC/USDT as an example to see how to place different order types.

Limit Orders

1. Click on Buy or Sell

2. Select Limit

3. Enter the order price

4. (a) Enter the quantity/value of BTC to buy/sell, or
(b) Use the percentage bar

If you want to buy BTC, and the available balance in your Spot Account is 10,000 USDT, you can (for example) choose 50% — that is, buy 5,000 USDT equivalent of BTC.

5. Click on Buy BTC or Sell BTC

6. After confirming that the entered information is correct, click on Buy BTC or Sell BTC.

Market Orders

1. Click on Buy or Sell

2. Select Market

3. (a) For Buy Orders: Enter the amount of USDT you’ve paid to buy BTC. For Sell Orders: Enter the amount of BTC you’ve sold to buy USDT.
Or:
(b) Use the percentage bar

For example, if you want to buy BTC, and the available balance in your Spot Account is 10,000 USDT, you can choose 50% to buy 5,000 USDT equivalent of BTC.

4. Click on Buy BTC or Sell BTC.

5. After confirming that you’ve entered the correct information, click on Buy BTC or Sell BTC.

For traders who are using the desktop web version, please go to Trade History to view the order details.

TP/SL Orders

1. Click on Buy or Sell

2. Select TP/SL from the TP/SL drop-down menu

3. Enter the trigger price

4. Choose to execute at Limit Price or Market Price
— Limit Price: Enter the order price
— Market Price: No need to set the order price

5. According to different order types:
(a)

• Market Buy: Enter the amount of USDT you’ve paid to buy BTC
• Limit Buy: Enter the amount of BTC you want to buy
• Limit/Market Sell: Enter the amount of BTC you’ve sold to buy USDT

(b) Use the percentage bar
For example, if you want to buy BTC, and the available balance in your Spot Account is 10,000 USDT, you can choose 50% to buy 5,000 USDT equivalent to BTC.

Note: Please make sure that you have sufficient funds in your Spot Account. If the funds are insufficient, traders who use the web can click on Deposit, Transfer, or Buy Coins under Assets to enter the asset page for deposit or transfer.
